Social Car Scheme
This scheme is run by using volunteer drivers who drive their own vehicles for members who can alight a standard car and do not need accessible adapted vehicles. An annual membership fee is charged to join the scheme. Passengers assist with the cost of the journey by contributing per mile. A minimum charge is applicable.
Minbus Brokerage Scheme
The scheme is available to local non- profit-making groups who need fully accessible transport. Bookings are subject to vehicle and driver availability. Groups can provide their own drivers, providing they meet our training standards. These minibuses can be booked for – Group outings, theatre trips, shopping, kids clubs, restaurants, social clubs, exercise classes, luncheon clubs, meetings. An annual membership fee is payable to join the scheme. Groups assist with the cost of the journey by contributing dependent on the mileage usage.
BCT Organised Day Trips
Throughout the year, several outings are arranged on our vehicles using a volunteer driver. The trips are planned, and members are notified. Trips can be to various parts of Essex including shopping and garden centers. Please contact us for further information on scheduled trips planned.
To access any of our schemes, you must be a member and fulfil the joining criteria. Please contact the office by telephone 01277 228080 or email enquiries@brentwoodct.co.uk You will need to complete a membership registration form and when your registration is received, you will be given a membership number so you can call and make a booking.
808 Local Registered Bus Service
Brentwood Community Hospital – Brentwood service Brentwood Community Transport operates a registered bus timetabled service giving direct access to Brentwood Community Hospital. It is a Hail and Ride service for all members of the public.
Wheelchair users should contact the office to book their space due to the limited space available on the vehicle.
You can pay to travel on the service with contactless payment system.
For people holding a valid concessionary bus pass you will need to show your pass to receive free travel from 09:00.
